Nikon Coolpix S6 provides WiFi enabled digital photography

nikon s6.jpgIf you have been reading this blog at all, (is there anyone out there), you will know that I am convinced that WiFi is a key enabler of the limitless possibilities for innovation in the new flattened world. WiFi now comes as standard in many products like laptops and the same thing is beginning to happen with digital cameras. This has the potential to drive completely different ways to manage digital information and create new uses and applications for digital photography.

Nikon Coolpix S6

One new camera from Nikon that does have a WiFi capability is the ultra-compact Coolpix S6. The S6 has Nikon's new sleek and interesting wave-surface design.

WiFi with 802.11b and 802.11g

The S6 is both 802.11b and 802.11g capable and can be hooked up to any laptop, computer or access point for image transfer or printing. Nikon provides software that allows for the setup of multiple device profiles to allow easy wireless connections with the S6.

The camera comes all the normal features that one might expect from a Nikon digital camera and for more information on this I suggest the following reviews
