Google Wi-Fi Deal Gains Powerful Critics

More posting on Google WiFi? Sorry I'll make it quick.

San Fransico has apparently been asked to rethink its Wi-Fi deal with Google and Earthlink as a member of San Francisco's board of supervisors has said he has some objections to the city's tentative plans to let the two companies build a citywide wireless network. However nowhere is it reported what the objections really are!

Unless it really is just a concern with respect to the amount of public say there will be on the deal. Is he saying there is too little, too much, or perhaps he just doesn't know and is raising the question. The whole thing seems a litle strange to me.
